Robert Ingpen

An acclaimed multi-award winning Australian artist and illustrator with a prolific career spanning many decades in illustrating and writing superb children’s books. Robert Ingpen is the only one of the two Australians whose contribution to children’s literature has been acknowledged with the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award. In 2016, at the age of 80, Robert Ingpen received the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) Lifetime Achievement Award.
